My name is Erin and I'm passionate about improving mental health in our BIPOC communities through anti-oppressive, compassionate, and culturally meaningful care. I work with clients who feel stuck or unsure about the path they’re on in life as well as those who may find it difficult as they navigate challenges in one or more of the relationships in their life. I also support those dealing with day-to-day stress, various forms of emotional overwhelm and burnout, loss or grief, periods of adjustment following big life changes as well as painful past experiences and immigration experiences. Additionally, I work with couples and families looking for a supportive place to talk about difficult topics and those hoping to find both effective and meaningful ways to work through times of stress, conflict, or change together.
Through an identity-affirming and 2SLGBTQI+ affirming approach to therapy, I tailor what I do in our sessions to support your unique journey towards balance, wellness, and continued growth. My approach incorporates the psychobiological principles of attachment, stress, and trauma with cognitive-behavioural and relational therapy strategies. By using therapeutic approaches that best align with your evolving needs, our sessions can become a place where you build insight, clarity, and greater capacity.
Ultimately, creating meaningful change can be empowering and feel deeply satisfying. My hope is that as we work together, you can see and feel the impact of positive change in your mental health.
