Hi, I’m Asli Sulieman, a registered social worker and therapist in Ontario.

I was born and raised in Canada, but both of my parents are Somali immigrants who came here in search of a better life. Growing up, I had to learn to navigate the educational system as a black child, facing many barriers and stereotypes along the way. I also had to balance my identity as a Muslim woman, which often made me feel like I didn’t belong in either culture. I know what it’s like to struggle with finding your place in the world, and how that can affect your mental health and well-being.

That’s why I’m incredibly passionate about helping others who are going through similar experiences. My expertise is in working with families and young people, especially those who are facing challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues. I understand the importance of providing a safe and supportive space for my clients, where they can feel seen, heard, and respected. I also value the diversity and richness of different cultures, and I strive to be culturally sensitive and inclusive in my practice.

If you are looking for a therapist who will treat you as the unique person you are, get in touch. I would love to hear your story and help you achieve your goals. It’s never too late to prioritize your well-being!
