My name is Tracy and I am a Nurse Psychotherapist with 15 years as a nurse, with a focus on women's health and 4 years experience practicing as a psychotherapist. I believe in a holistic and culturally sensitive approach to therapy, creating a non-judgemental space, valuing the uniqueness of each person to meet the needs and goals of the clients I see.

My areas of expertise include anxiety and depression, helping to improve communication, resolving conflict, challenging negative behaviours and developing coping strategies. I use a particular modality of therapy called Behavioural Activation.

Behavioral Activation is grounded in the understanding that depression and/or anxiety often leads to withdrawal from rewarding activities and social interactions, which further feeds into feelings of sadness and low mood. The goal of BA is to help individuals regain a sense of purpose, satisfaction, and connection in their lives by identifying and engaging in activities that are meaningful and aligned with their values. Clients are then able to reclaim their sense of joy, purpose, and empowerment.
