Admitting that you need help isn't always easy, but it's definitely a first step in the right direction. Taking the first steps to ask for help takes courage and demonstrates strength and resilience. My goal will be to offer you a safe space in which you will feel listened, welcomed, and understood. Together, we can find ways and tools to help you better understand yourself.
Since 2016, I have had the opportunity to work as a psychosocial support worker by supporting several types of clients, which gave me general knowledge on various issues. I am currently finalizing my master's degree in counseling and spirituality at Saint-Paul’s University to complete my qualifications as a future psychotherapist.
During our first meetings, I will take the time to get to know you, before going into more detail about your needs, therapeutic objectives, and some aspects of your life. This will provide a better understanding of your situation and offer you personalized support that can include your spiritual beliefs if desired.
To help my clients, reconnect with their emotions and experiences and to promote better self-awareness, I mainly use the following therapeutic approaches: Psychodynamic, Narrative, Multicultural, and Emotions-focused.
It will be my pleasure to support you on your wellness journey in order to help you get through your difficult time. I am ready to support you with a variety of concerns, and I particularly want to help adults with the following challenges:
- Work-related stress
- Life Transitions
- Racial issues
- Anxiety (social anxiety, generalized anxiety)
- Domestic violence
- Sexual violence
- Interpersonal relationships
- Trauma
- Suicidal thoughts
I offer individual follow-ups for adults (17 years old and +) in the form of virtual, in-person, or phone therapy.
It will be my pleasure to take part in your healing journey.
