I capitalize on my African Indigenous knowledges and wisdom, incorporating various therapeutic modalities to support each individual's experiences and hence needs.
I specialize in trauma experienced individually/familially, institutionally/systemically, across ones childhood and or adulthood. I take a holistic, humanizing and healing-centered approach to supporting individuals struggling with the aftermath of trauma, such as feelings of sadness, anger, shame, guilt, hopelessness, depressive mood and anxiety symptoms etc.
I center individual's life stories within the context of their personal, ancestral and collective histories, and collaboratively work to strengthen individual's sense of dignity. I am committed to therapeutic practice that is anti-oppressive, and invested in: restoration; healing; and recreation of dignified, meaningful and sustainable living.
