I'm a Registered Psychotherapist and yoga instructor who is passionate about improving the mental health for folks of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities. As someone born in central Africa and raised in both southern and northern Africa before moving to Canada, my desire to support the healing, recovery, and growth of others is rooted in an awareness and understanding of both unique and shared BIPOC experiences.
I work with clients who feel stuck or unsure about the path they're on or who struggle with anxiety, stress, burnout, or other difficult emotions while navigating the challenges of daily life, painful past experiences, and big life changes. I also work with couples who may be facing obstacles in their relationship, are thinking about ending their relationship, or who want to strengthen and deepen an already fulfilling relationship.
My priority is for you to feel respected and understood in an atmosphere of trust and nonjudgment as we explore your concerns. Through a compassionate, anti-oppressive, culturally-informed, LGBTI2SQ+ and gender affirming approach, I tailor what I do to support your unique journey towards a greater sense of balance, wellness, and continued growth.
Creating meaningful change can be empowering. My hope is that as we work together you can see and feel the impact of positive and meaningful change in your mental health. To connect and speak further, please feel free to reach out. I wholeheartedly welcome individuals and couples of all identities and backgrounds to work with me.
