As the Registered Psychotherapist, Founder & CEO of True Roots Counselling Services for 30 years, Kimberly Cato is passionate about coming alongside people blindsided and overwhelmed by life-altering circumstances and empowering them with the support and strategies necessary to Transform Their Trauma Into Triumph.

Ms. Cato developed these strategies of resilience and transformation through decades of professional development and personal victory. Working with Children In Care at Children’s Aid Society, At-Risk Youth in Secure Treatment, Seniors in Long-Term-Care, People living with Life-Altering diseases such as HIV/AIDS and Cancer in Palliative Care, People living with severe mental health issues at Canadian Mental Health Association and People in conflict with the law has equipped Ms. Cato with a plethora of professional development experiences to draw from when assisting people in crisis.

Personally, Ms. Cato has endured many physical challenges that forced her to reinvent herself to get her message out. These life challenges empowered Ms. Cato to live with a “Seize The Day” attitude that encourages her to Live Life To The Fullest. From her wheelchair, Ms. Cato refuses to focus on the negatives in life but instead, with Gratitude, she embraces each day like it is a fresh opportunity to make the world a better place.

Kimberly Cato's message to all those feeling stuck and afraid that they have lost their way is a calm reassurance that they do not have to journey through life’s obstacles alone. Together, they can explore and reclaim their True Roots.
