Patricia Bailey-Brown is a Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, Life Coach, and Clinical Supervisor, supporting young adults, seniors, families, and couples living with PTSD, anxiety disorders, bipolar, Attention-Deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She specializes in vulnerable populations—Black, LGBTQ, and new immigrant communities. For a decade, she has worked within susceptible communities to develop tools and strategies to help at-risk persons cope with trauma, abuse, and mental illness in one-on-one counselling, caregiver support. In 2019, she founded Phoenix Counselling Services to enhance her service offerings to the GTA’s most vulnerable communities.

Patricia believes that if trauma, abuse, and mental illness have left you feeling like you’re lost in the darkness, you’re not alone. It’s perfectly natural that the difficult emotions and loneliness you feel have cast a shadow over your life. But though the darkness may feel crushing, there is hope and light. The truth is your painful past does not mean that you are stuck with an unhappy future, and though your mental health might feel like it has taken charge of your life, it does not define you. As we work together, I’ll help you discover that you are much more than your circumstances, that your life matters, and that you have a powerful purpose.
