The past couple of years have been hard on all of us dealing with the pandemic and the multiple lockdowns. This might have exacerbated other issues related to anxiety and depression that we were already facing pre-COVID. My goal is to be a supportive facilitator of change and help clients lead the lives they aspire to lead and help them overcome obstacles hindering their path to leading fulfilling lives . My approach to therapy is judgement-free, acceptance-valued, and client-centred.

I am someone who has lived in many different countries including Ethiopia, Somaliland, Malaysia, and Canada and thus understands that culture plays an important role in shaping our world-views and perspectives. I thus make sure to provide everyone I work with a safe and judgement-free environment to express themselves and work on their therapeutic goals.
