    Do you struggle with negative thinking and beliefs? Do you find yourself people pleasing, feeling overwhelmed by emotions, and struggling to move past painful life events? I work with individuals experiencing challenges resulting from life changing encounters, stressful life events, relationship concerns, loss, anxiety, depression, domestic violence/abuse, emotional abuse, racial trauma/discrimination, trauma in childhood and adulthood. I am passionate about supporting individuals as they embark on the journey of understanding, change, growth, and healing from various presenting issues. I work from a trauma-informed lens, while incorporating strength-based and client-centred frameworks in my approach with individuals. My approach to therapeutic work is collaborative as I recognize that individuals are experts of their own lives. Furthermore, I believe that change happens in a genuine, empathic and compassionate therapeutic relationship. Therefore, my goal is to create a genuine, empathic, and collaborative relationship with individuals as we work towards building resiliency, uncovering strengths, developing coping strategies, and establishing hope. I use various therapeutic modalities in my practice, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Brainspotting.
