Masters Level Registered Clinical Social Worker

My name is Fola Browne and I am the founder of Become Resilient Individuals (BRI) Counselling Centre. I am a caring, dedicated Masters level registered Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist who works to help people navigate difficulties, build strengths and coping strategies, and emerge from life struggles stronger, wiser, and more resilient than before. With over ten years of experience with a wide range of clients, life challenges, and settings (including schools, the child welfare system, social service agencies, hospitals, mental health organizations, and various provincial ministries), I bring valuable knowledge, experience, skill, respect and cultural sensitivity to my work with each client.

BRI Counselling, is a distinctive new counselling centre dedicated to equipping and empowering clients, fostering greater resilience, and transforming lives, families and communities. BRI is a warm, safe, welcoming space where clients are encouraged to bravely express their authentic selves and to grow to reach their full potential. At BRI, our clients arrive as strangers, experience care and camaraderie, and leave as part of our extended family. We put in the work to make sure our clients learn the skills and mindset they need to become more resilient, to build strengths and confidence, to set and achieve the goals that are most important to them, and to make progress toward success in the important areas of their life.

As the founder and lead therapist at Become Resilient Individuals (BRI) Counselling Services, I lead our team in its mission to ignite hope, build strengths and empower people to become more resilient in all aspects of life. We create a warm, safe, welcoming and brave space where your voice can be heard, your challenges overcome, and your life transformed.
