I am the Co-Founder + Administrative Director of Service Navigation & Training of Kahle Therapy & Consulting Services. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) with over 15 years of experience. I attended Centennial College (Child + Youth Work), Ryerson University (Child + Youth Care) & the University of Guelph-Humber College (Family + Community Social Services). My expertise spans a variety of sectors including mental health, community engagement, policy, social services, youth justice, data management, and service navigation. I was born into a family from Barbados, was raised in Scarborough, Ontario and I’m a proud Bajan-Canadian with strong Caribbean roots. I love music, especially soca, and I believe that music has a way of reaching & soothing the soul. I utilize a strength-based approach + anti-oppression lens to address depression, anxiety, emotional regulation issues, family conflict & trauma. I have a passion for working with youth, addressing social justice/systemic issues, and I have developed workshops + treatment programs for youth involved with the justice system. My aim to help empower individuals to understand how their experiences, culture, and social background intersect to develop their identity. I use that knowledge to collaboratively develop unique treatment plans that assist individuals in achieving their personal goals & confidently navigate their mental wellness needs. I facilitate learning opportunities + activities for organizations that are authentic and progressive. My lived experience has propelled my dream to strengthen the community through the provision of culturally competent services and ensuring a safe space for Black people to discuss how systemic discrimination and inter-generational trauma uniquely impacts Black mental health. Services are remote. Receipts can be provided for insurance purposes.
