RD, MSW, RSW, Psychotherapist
In-office, video and phone sessions are now available. I am an MSW, RSW psychotherapist and a Registered Dietitian. For over 20years I have specialized in helping individuals and families move beyond the effects of Eating Disorders and relationship challenges. Our journey together is paced. My unique dietitian & psychotherapy skill-set gently pace clients as we attend to either mental health needs, dietary skills-building needs, or the integration of both. I help clients to first become ready to move through such intangibles as "a wall of silence /denial " or "a dark heavy cloud of depression ." We address obsessive thoughts, fears, and anxiety. We work together to rebuild skills, confidence, relationships, and lives. My mental health skills such as Interpersonal Therapy, CBT, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy and if appropriate, eating management knowledge and skills, will ground our sessions. The result? Your between-sessions experiences will lead to increased feelings of empowerment as opposed to unrelenting depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and interpersonal doubts. Combining my dietitian and psychotherapist skill-sets results in seamless service, convenience, and savings for you....without sacrificing the quality of care. My individualized approach means you and your family will be uniquely supported as you move closer to regaining control of your health and your life.
